Biography

Experience Turned Into Purpose

With over 18 years of experience, Auguy Mangone has dedicated her career to helping immigrants navigate the U.S. legal system and build a new life in the United States.

Her work centers on humanitarian cases and family reunification, providing strategic legal representation with empathy and deep knowledge of U.S. immigration law. Practice areas include: U Visa • T Visa • VAWA • Family Petitions • Removal of Conditions • Consular Processing • SIJ Cases • Military Parole • Waivers

The Beginning of the Journey

Starting Over in a New Country

Auguy arrived in the United States from Venezuela in 1999 — no English, no roadmap, and the daunting challenge of rebuilding her career as an immigration attorney within an entirely different legal system. Like so many Latino immigrants before her, those early years demanded sacrifice: learning a new language, adapting to a new culture, and finding opportunity where little seemed to exist. But she never stopped moving forward.

Determination

The Hard Road to Becoming an Immigration Attorney

Through discipline and unwavering determination, Auguy overcame every obstacle in her path. Along the way, she obtained her permanent residency and later her U.S. citizenship — experiencing firsthand the very immigration process she now guides her clients through. She also passed some of the most demanding exams in the U.S. legal system:

TOEFL

LSAT

Bar Exam

A Courageous Step

The Birth of Mangone Law Firm

In 2012, she made the decision that would change everything. After three years working alongside a litigation attorney, Auguy founded her own immigration law firm in New Jersey — while raising her first child and with very limited resources. The early years demanded enormous sacrifice: she worked seven days a week, meeting clients wherever they needed her — in her office, in coffee shops, and in the homes of those who needed help most. But her purpose was clear: to walk alongside other Latino immigrants on the same road she had once traveled herself.
